While the parental controls function in OSX is perfect for "locking" the computer during certain times, there is no function like that in iOS. Is there an app that does that? Everything I have found just limits screen time (i.e., set a specific number of hours of screen time). What I need is something like OSX parental controls where I can set time parameters like 8pm to 8am is restricted.

Anybody have success with an app like that? TIA!

Since there were no replies I thought I would post my findings for those that search this topic in the future.

There seem to be 2 really good "subscription" based apps that allow you to have parental control on an iOS device.

Kidslox and OurPact both do roughly the same thing and offer the similar features. You'll just need to review both to determine which is best for you. Kidslox has a free plan but only allows for control of 1 device. After that you need to upgrade to the premium plan which is $3 a month or $30 a year and allows for use on an unlimited number of devices. OurPact only does monthly pricing at $0, $2 or $5 a month for 1 device, 10 devices, or 20 devices.

Aside from that, you'll need to verify the features each has and if they give you what you are looking for.
