OK so there is an option to dim the screen slightly when on battery... Is there any way to set an absolute brightness for when on battery, and a different brightness when on AC. I find I want the brightness much lower than the change the "default dim when on battery" sets. Perhaps an App?

Yes, I know I can hit F1 and F2, but would be nice to set presets that do it automagically.

Look at the free app Control Plane. It can change brightness based on power source. Not sure if can be set to an absolute value though.
