In my head.
hi, i got a lock icon in me menu bar which allows me to lock the screen with two mouse clicks..but I would like to perform it with no mouse. Is there an app letting me create shortcut for this option ?

pressing alt+cmd+eject sleeps the computer, and you can set the computer to require a password to awaken from sleep

It’s possible in Quicksilver, but that seems like way overkill for just what you wanna do.

i do not want to sleep me computer, say im in the office and going for a break so i just simply wanna lock the screen with two key strokes. is it possible? is there a way to bind two keys? say cmd+e ??

i do not want to use require a password to wake this this computer from sleep or screen saver as i dont feel like typing in me pass 100 times a day.

I had the same problem when I first bought my MBP. I ended up finding an application called MacLock Me. It puts a icon on your tool bar which lets you lock your computer. NO hotkey though. I wish it did.
