Hello,

I tried searching before I started this thread. I have a movie that I want to crop the last four minutes of, but am not able to do it in any of the software that I have.

Handbrake
Imovie
BoingxTV

If there is a simple method akin do what I can do with wiretap studios I would appreciate it.

iMovie can do this. Import into iMovie, drag the whole movie to the timeline, then click and drag the end of the movie to shave off the 4 minutes. Export as a new movie.

The movie is an Avi file, and when I try to import it, nothing comes up

Use MPEG Streamclip. It's free. You can also use Quicktime with Perian installed, but I think only QT Pro allows you to do this. I've had it for so long I forget which features are standard and which are pro-only.
