People,

Is there any app to edit the song info directly on ipod touch & sync back to computer.

Ex: I rip a CD, fill the track names and load in ipod.
After listening, i need to fill genre etc...

How could I do that.

Thanks in advance.

I do not know of any apps that would do this.

May I ask why you're not entering the song info into iTunes as you're ripping?
EDIT: Oh, wait, you are entering the track info during ripping. My mistake; I misread that.

Yeah the only way I know is to do this in iTunes FIRST. But you can select a whole array of songs at once and change all of their Genre's, it makes it much faster. But as for an app, I don't think there is one.

If you allow GraceNote CDDB to fill in the data as needed, that will include Genre. Of course, the same genre will be attached to every track on the CD, which admittedly sucks for compilations....

Thanks for the reply guys!

I tried tagging from an online resource. but the major problem is, My collection includes regional songs (Definitely not catalouged online). So i have to do it manually.

If there is any workaround kindly suggest...
