app. to extract the camera from a DV file ?

Long story short, a friend's miniDV camera was stolen and we raised some money to buy her a new one.
Now, we don't know the exact model, but I have some .dv files that where filmed using the camera.

Is there an app. that will extract camera information from the DV file's metadata (in a similar way to the EXIF metadata found in digital pictures) ?

I'm leaning with no on this one... Sorry to hear about the theft... They'll get theirs someday

There really isn't a video version of EXIF. No data about camera settings is stored in the DV stream.
