App to film/capture what I see on the screen?

Hi,

Earlier while zooming around on google earth, I thought how cool it would be to be able to capture what I was seeing as a film that I could later edit in iMovie. Any ideas about software that will do this on my Macbook?

we do about 2-3 hours of screen capture a week for training purposes. Most of it either 1650 or full 1900x1200. I LOVE iShowU it is awesome. Tried Screen Snappz Pro X but on intel mac iShowU is so much faster and more reliable. Their support is awesome too !
