I'm looking for a good app to flash reminders onscreen and send me email as an extra measure. Google Calendar has proven unwieldy for short little messages that don't need to be so elaborately scheduled. Growl support would be great.
My desired mode of operation:
- Enter hotkey. (Cultured Code's Things does this excellently but it only allows for daily, not down-to-the-minute scheduling.)
- Enter message.
- Be reminded automatically without worries.
Numerous searches have only revealed one app that works close to the way I want it to, and that's MenuMinder. But I wonder if there are others from your experience?
