app to minimaze windows from the dock ?

there is one more thing annoying in mac os x and i am thinking if any of apps can do it..im talking about minimizing app from the dock..say i click active app from the dock to bring it to front and i would like to hide it right back to the dock by clicking the the icon in the dock rather the shortcut cmd+h /cmd+w or minimize - in the corner of the window.

I hide applications (Cmd + H) instead of minimizing.

hide or minimize ..still the same pain of doing it...id love to be able to minimize it or hide it depending on initial state by clicking on the icon in the dock.

There's a hide command right there in the Dock menu.
