Currently, I have a blank icon on the first page of the homescreen so I can see most of the wallpaper (removed page dots as well)--all app icons are on subsequent pages. What I'd really like to see on that page (and that page only) is just the wallpaper and statusbar--no dock.

Is there an app on Cydia available to do this?

The dock stays regardless so I don't think you can get rid of it on just one page and have it available on the other pages on your phone.

There was an app, can't remember the name of it, that hid your dock and statusbar just like the auto-hide feature on your computer desktop. Last I remembered it wasn't updated to work with iOS4 but maybe they've since updated.

like previous post im not sure either but the best i can think of is find a theme that has a transparent png dock then just move the icons off it but then again it will remove them on page 2 and so on also

This was called SBSimplify.
