App to show iCal calendar and tasks on desktop

Hi!
Would u mind giving me a piece of advice?
Currently i am seeking for an app that would show up on my desktop(and stay there) and show there tasks for today.
"Rainlendar" looks good but i didn't succeed in finding way for app to take info from iCal automaticly.

I use this widget. If you are adamant about having it on your desktop then you can make the Dashboard run on your desktop by putting this command into terminal.

defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES

I'm partial to iDeskCal - there is also a lot of customization you can use to specify where you want it displayed on your desktop as well as how (font, number of days to display, tasks or no tasks, etc).
