App to show Intel HD/330M status

Hello,

Before there was a discussion on a couple of apps people had written that show in the status bar whether you're using the Intel HD or Nvidia 330M on an i5/i7 macbook. I now have an i7 MBP but can't find the thread anywhere (tried MRoogle too!).

Anyone know where it is/what the apps are?

No worries; found it! It's gfxcardstatus! Why do I always find things just after I finally gave up and asked on a forum!!

Anyone else using it? I note I can fix which card is on (i.e. force it to use intel HD whenever on battery regardless). Does it play nice? Great if it does!

It does play nice with my 2009 17" MBP.

No, I had to log off to switch from the 9400 to the 9600 or vice versa. gfxCardStatus does the switch without logging off.
