App to sync notes(iOS and android)

I want to be able to make multiple lists for different things like groceries and just can't find the right one. The one thing i ask for that it is free. If someone can help me out i would appreciate it. I need this to work with iOS and android with instant syncing. I tried listary but it did not work well with android.

Evernote? If it's not too cumbersome for your purpose, and you can deal with the free (60 Mb?) monthly sync limit.

Or maybe something like RTM, but I never tried it before and I'm not sure how good the free account is.
