App to use a laptop as a external monitor - not just Teleport

I have my MBA sitting next to my 27" imac and 27" TB. I want to have the MBA act as a 3rd monitor.

I have Teleport running where I can move the mouse and keyboard back and forth, but I'd like to have the MBA act as a real monitor I can drag apps and such over.

I presume this would be a network deal. It's not really a VNC. I want to have the iMac view the MBA screen as a 3rd screen, even if the MBA has some sort of window.

What do you think? possible?
