App to use the iPhone like a notepad

Hey all, are there any apps where you can use the iPhone like a notepad, where you can write quick notes with a stylus rather than typing? I've been looking around and reading about it, but most of these apps are made specifically for the iPad. Thanks!

I'll piggyback on this thread to save trees
I'm looking for an app that in addition to taking notes it synchronizes the notes (or calendar events) with my significant other's iPhone. Much like Cozy for Android does. Thanks in advance.
