App updates do not install

I have two apps (iPhoto and iMovie) that show in the updates window of the App Store. I click to update, they appear to install but never disappear from the window. I have repeated the process several times. Ideas?

I had the same problem on my 2012 MBA. I had to click the install buttons again, and then it finally started installing. It did not need to redownload the updates.
