I've noticed that, in some applications, e.g. Skype (as below) some of the graphics aren't working properly.

The Skype status icon is cut short here (I'm sure there are more technical terms to express this).

Keep in mind that Skype hasn't been updated to support OS X Yosemite yet... if it works, its because Apple hasn't introduced or change anything to break it completely.

I would suggest re-installing and seeing if it changes. Might be a Skype issue.
