How come I can append text to text files made with TextWrangler, but not with text files made in TextEdit? Anyone ever have this happen to them before?

What type of file are you appending to? .TXT files? Cause it works fine for me. And are you using the Append To... or Append Text... action? Cause Append To.. is the only one that works for me, I can't get the other Append action to even come up.

Unless the TextWrangler files are a different format than .txt then I don't know why TextEdit files don't work. What Application is your default for opening text files?

I'm using the Append To action as well. It seems I can append to TextWrangler files (probably .txt) but not to TextEdit files since they are .rtf What's up with that?

Ah, I had meant to ask if the problem was with .RTF files. Well there's a big difference between .txt. and .rtf, so this is an understandable problem. Regardless you should know that the QS action is made for txt only.

Nothing you can do otherwise.
