I have a few questions about the 24" display. I got this Monday as a replacement from Apple along with a Mac Pro for my iMac 27". I will be using the display for Final Cut and Aperture so i would like to know the following:

Is this display better than the 30" apple display?

and if the 30" is better where would the best place be to sell a brand new 24" apple led display (not eBay) ?

Thanks for any help

How did you fit a 24 foot monitor in your house,?:D

I have no idea about the 30" cinema display.

Don't sell on eBay.

Sorry I didn't mean to be a smart alek.

Better is subjective.

Some believe it is better because it has a matte screen and displays 2560x1600 pixels VS the 1920X1200 pixels of the 24"

Some believe the 24" is better because the LED screen is instant-on, and does't need to "warm-up" as the older display technology does. Maybe lower power consumption also.

The questions that only you can answer:
Do you have a preference of glossy or matte?
Do you want/need the higher resolution of the 30"

Can/Would you wait to see if Apple releases a stand-alone 27" display?
