Can anyone confirm if the Apple 24 inch Cinema Display (A1267) will work with a Late 2012 Mac Mini without the need for additional adapters?

The display has a Mini Display Port and a USB connector.

The Mac Mini has a Thunderbolt and USB3 ports.

Will the display's Mini Display connector fit in to the Mini’s Thunderbolt port (for video?) and the USB in to the Mini’s USB3 port (for sound)?

Thanks

The Mac mini 2012 has one Thunderbolt 1 port and four USB 3.0 ports.
The Mac mini 2012 can connect two 2560x1600 displays.

Thunderbolt 1/2 ports can output DisplayPort signal via Mini DisplayPort adapter or cable so it should work.
USB 3.0 ports can connect USB 2.0 devices so all of the Cinema Display's USB devices should work.

The Apple 24 inch Cinema Display is only 1920x1200 so it only requires DisplayPort 1.0 to work.

Yes. It will work great. This is the setup I used for over 10 years with my late 2012 mini. The mini displayport connector plugs directly into the Thunderbolt port on the Mini. There is also a USB A connector that plugs into a USB port to provide connectivity for the 3 USB (USB 2.0 I think) ports on the back of the display and allows you control the screen brightness from an Apple keyboard. The speakers work fine too, just don't expect a symphonic experience from them.

I'm still using this monitor (using an adapter) on my M2 Mini as I type this.

Good to hear, thanks. I got the Mini (16GB RAM, 500GB SSD running Sequoia using Legacy Patcher) for £30 and pick up the display (£35) at the weekend: great little cheap-as-chips set up for emails, surfing, Youtube, watching movies...
