Apple 24 LED display brilliance

Hi All


Just had my newly repaired 24 LED ACD returned after having a new panel inserted. As far as I am aware because I used
them before repair the F1 and F2 keys used to work to adjust the brightness. On return and setup now they do not.

Have tried the keyboard on another Mac and all keys work OK. Am I right in thinking that something in the monitor or
cable could have been damaged during the new screen being installed ?

Hi

Do not know what I was thinking last night, nothing I would think.

Have since connected the monitor to other machines and it all works fine. So the problem lies within the Mac Pro. Only thing done to that is upgrade to 10.6.2 via 10.6.1 etc

Going put back a copy of 10.6.1 I have on a HD, see of that fixes the problem.
