I reserved a black 32gb version last week when the systems went down and chose the NYC 5th ave. store.
I arrived there about 11:40am and only had to wait about 45 min before I was inside and had my iphone. There was a separate reservation line but not at any time did anyone ask to see my reservation confirmation. Seems like there were plenty of suckers waiting in the big line for hours upon hours.
Just a heads up... might start to rain here later and looks like you can get there and not have to wait that long. Still wish they had the white one available today though but nonetheless happy I have my 32gb iphone 4!
