I'm probably going to get the 2.66 GHz MPB, I'm trying to decide whether to have the HD upgraded in the online store or getting a drive from a 3d party retailer. I'd rather not mess with opening the machine, but for the sake of my audio setup I'd do it.
The MBP will be used for day to day use, audio recording/editing/composing and accessorizing my awesomeness.
Three questions:
1. What 7200 drives does Apple put in the new MBP?
2. Is it true 320 7200 uses 1 platter vs. 2 in 500 GB?
3. Should I get the Apple upgrade or a 3d party (in view of the above?)
