Apple A1184 vs A1344 charger

Hi guys, I have a MBP 13" Late 2011 but my charger (A1344) is broken.
I found that I have another charger that looks like the same (60W and the same I/O values), it is the A1184 of my old Macbook unibody.
Can I use it to charge my MBP? Will it damage my MBP?

The only difference between the two power adapters is that the the A1184 is the older/original magsafe design and the A1344 is the newer L-shaped design. I own and used both on my uMB in the past without any issues.
