So, if you're following my other thread (or even if you aren't) I'm considering a TiBook 867. Eventually I'll be getting a 22" ACD (and a dual-gig, but that's a different story.)
Anyways, I've been lusting after the ACD for a while, and would probably be unable to wait much longer after the TiBook, knowing full well that it could run the ACD with an adapter. However, money is an issue... So the question is...
If you look at the "Power Couple" rebate offer, you can get up to $400 back by purchasing a Powerbook and an ACD on the same sales slip from now until the 31st. I'm not quite ready for that purchase yet, but knowing I'd be getting $400 back would ease some of the pain on the expense. However, the rebate coupon PDF indicates $300 off with a TiBook 667, and $400 off with a TiBook 800... these are the old models.
Has Apple updated the offer to reflect the new systems and just not changed the PDF file? Does the 867 qualify as a 667 did or as an 800 did? Would I get something back telling me my purchase was technically ineligible? (You know, good-ole rebates strike again..)
Just a few questions for anyone that has an idea. Thanks.
