Apple Address Book LDAP port question

My question is in regards to the Apple Address Book LDAP preferences settings. I opened up the preferences and noticed LDAP port 9999 set as active. I've never seen this before. Isn't the usual port either 389 or 636? My main concern is if this is a security issue.
