Why did Apple choose to name the street its headquarters are located on "infinite loop"? According to Wikipedia an inifinite loops is defined as follows:

An infinite loop is a sequence of instructions in a computer program which loops endlessly, either due to the loop having no terminating condition or having one that can never be met. In older operating systems with cooperative multitasking, infinite loops normally caused the entire system to become unresponsive.

The street is a loop (sort of), and they were computer guys. Not much more to it than that AFAIK.

I just thought it was funny they named it after a state of malfunction a computer sometimes enters. I never made the possible command button connection though. Now I'll be seeing infinite loops everywhere--its like the mason's symbol or something. lol

The other buildings are even funnier. Well, to me at least.

2 Infinite Loop, 3 Infinite Loop, and so on.
