Hi Guys,

I've just gone into Pages to test the new AI function on my Mac running the latest Sequoia FW to make some text more concise.

I entered the text and then control clicked as instructed in all the guidance but all I get is the following. What am I missing??? (the text below is just random wording. Actual text is a statement)

I have a 700-word (ish) statement which I want to compress to around 500-600 words, and also read a little more professional.

Would this be possible? Or am I expecting too much?

Sorry to ask again guys, but I tried Again tonight, followed videos but still no luck.

Has anyone got I to work on pages to amend documents?

Writing Tools should pop up for any highlighted text regardless of whether it is in Pages or not. You need to check if Apple Intelligence is on through System Settings.

Hi Waltman, thanks. I went through the whole setup process when I updated but still no luck. Where should I be checking on settings to ensure it is actually on?

Do you mean Writing Tools?
It works for me on Pages, where I use a keyboard shortcut to open the Writing Tools window.

Edit: Mac OS 15.2 on both Mac mini m4 and MBA M2

Thanks Dimittar. Is writing tools accessed from Pages itself?

I've been using the Highlight and Command click method.

Oh and is writing tools free to use? Or do I need to subscribe to ChatGPT?
