So I finally hooked everything up.
iTunes streaming from my secondary PC(iMac) to Airport Express connected to powered speakers. Using the Remote app on the iPad I can stream my entire music library from anywhere in the house! Also the CHERRY on top is that the iMac will be woken from sleep when I use the remote app to start accessing the iTunes library!
Caveat: for initial configuration to put the Airport Express on my wireless network I had to hook it up with a CAT5 to the iMac. But once it was fully configured and plugged back in, I was able to do wireless firmware update from my Windows 7 PC!
