Hey guys!

I wasn't sure where to put this so i figured here is as good place as any.

I'm looking to extend the network in my home. It doesn't quite reach my bedroom and my phone is too weak to always connect. I was reading in to the Apple Airport Express. Would this be a viable option for me to extend my network? I don't need a big radius, just enough for my room. Has anyone had trouble with these? I want to save myself from running cat5 throughout my house to my room.

Thanks for the input!

I have an AirPort Express and I'm getting a good signal 50 feet away and through one wall in my basement. I use it to extend my home network for my iPhone 6, iPad Air 2, iPad mini and Apple TV. I've never had any trouble with the AirPort Express and it has indeed saved me from running cat5 throughout the basement.

It depends on which main router you use. An AirPort will only extend networks created by other AirPorts.

I've used an AirPort Express as my main router for the past 3 years. It's wonderful. Most stable wireless router I've ever used.
