Apple Airport Extreme 5th Generation buzzing noise

Hi,

Anyone else's 2013 model of Apple Airport Extreme base station making noises such as a buzzing sound (very irritatingly loud) during wireless transmissions? I run a speediest on my comcast line and wow, via the wireless (either 2.4GHz or 5GHz) results in the same loud obnoxious buzzing sound.

Should I return for another unit that doesn't make this noise or is this something that is new feature on all 5th generation apple wireless routers? My older Time machine does not give you this sort of rattle snake buzzing noise!

2012 model.

It buzzes. But not very loudly. I can hear it if I put my ear on top of it.

Thanks for the reply! I found out it's not my base station making the noise, it's the white power brick power supply adapter! When under wireless full load, it just vibrates or makes a rattle snake/buzzing noise! I also noticed the LED light on the power cable is not lit.

I am going to return for another unit!
