I have a windows 7 PC and Macbook pro connected to my Tranquil SQA-5H running WHS 7.4 Squeezebox Server, I have a high speed cable connection which feeds into my Apple Airport Extreme router and is connected via Ethernet cable to my Dual Band Time Capsule which extends my wired system and wireless throughout the house, all my Boom's and transporter are connected via Ethernet cable.

My problem is that when I press my favourite button to switch on the radio there is a long 7 to 10 seconds or more delay before the radio starts also I've noticed that when I change tracks there can also be a delay in waiting for the next track but not always. Am I doing something wrong here or are there settings I need to change.

If I switch on my Boom or Transporter and choose Artist and then song it starts instanly so I don't think it is a sleep or hibernation issue with the WHS but it seems that there is an issue accessing the radio station via the internet via the Airport Extreme?

I'm sure with my old Belkin N1 vision router going through a Netgear Switch I never had these delay problems?

Any advice or pointer would be most helpful.

Many thanks, Tim.
