Would like to replace my existing worn out keyboard on my G4 running 10.3 with a new Apple Wired Aluminium keyboard but the specs say it needs 10.4 and up. I have no need to go to Tiger or Leopard.

Will it work on 10.3 - I'm not interested in the brightness, Exposé keys but would like to retain the eject, volume functionality as per my current Apple keyboard?

The eject key works with 10.3. The volume/mute keys don't. Everything but the function keys work too. I like the light weight so I'm keeping mine because I expect to upgrade to Leopard on my I mac too.

Ah interesting that it works 98% - what hardware are you running it with?

Might get one from somewhere I can send it back to if I'm not happy with it.
