We have seen some weird news from Apple and Beats. So why do you think Apple wants beats?

There is a main forum for this. Go and join that. There are hundreds of threads regarding this issue.

APPLE bought Beats!! so you will not see any beats logo on the iphone or earpods.

Microsoft still need to use Nokia brand for the people who knows Nokia for phones, but in this case Apple is Apple

i feel like they are going to use the beats music software, and use the technology behind headphones to create their own.

Apple is THINKING about buying beats for the beats employees. I think what apple wants is the beats engineers to make the iPhone speaker smaller and any better sound quality is a bonus. I think apple also wants the fan base because they know how much those people will drop on some head phones so they won't have any problem putting that money into a phone.

But wouldn't Beats make some Apple users upset? I mean, yes they can get the Beats fan base but they can also lose some Apple users. Also if they wanted good sound quality why they don't just buy other audio companies. Or if they wanted to beat Spotify why they don't buy Spotify    I guess there is something that we don't know

I do not see Beats destroying Spotify.

And I got a pair of Beats earphones for free when I bought a smartphone. I have pairs of $20 earbuds I listen with more. :D

Yeah there probably is something we don't know but I don't think apple will lose people over buying beats. I don't care about beats at all and as long as there is no B on anything I don't care that apple bought them.

Yeah, I guess so. Look at the moves that Apple done: LuxVue, Beats, Sapphire, Hiring Leader of Nokia's Camera team. It seems like Apple is making something big maybe iWatch?

In part but for $3.2 billion they could hire away all of the employes by quadrupling their pay and pay then for a decade and still have a couple of billion left over. $3.2 billion goes WAY beyond employee pay.

True aqui-hires are usually startups with limited product, revenue and/or profits that run in the few millions of dollars.
