do you think they should improve some of the features in there phone?

they have bluetooth but no data tooth

"Data tooth" for some reason I laughed out loud when I read that.

On topic: I like the features on the iPhone, especially the new 3G. It will have everything I could really use.

I agree, they need full A2DP support on the Bluetooth. But for this to work, they would also need a decent file browser and support for opening the files with various apps (eg. opening a picture with the photos app, but without it being in the photo library). Apart from that, I am happy with the hardware - I have no use at all for a front facing camera, and the rear one, I don't really need it to be amazing.

well.. where im from.. datathooth is bluetooh but you can transfer files..

theres no actual thing called data thooth, just bluethooth

You are from one weird place :)

What you're thinking of is A2DP

EDIT: I'm wrong, it's not A2DP, just plain old Bluetooth data transfer.

Not to split hairs or anything A2DP is the Bluetooth profile for stereo audio over bluetooth. It would allow for you to listen to your music over a pair of wireless Bluetooth stereo headset. IPhone does need this profile enabled being that the iPhone is sort of their flagship of the iPod line.

Data Transfer is made up of OBEX (object exchange... lets you bluetooth pictures, contacts, etc.) and DUN (dialup networking.. what most people call tethering).

There are about a million others but those are the ones that most phones have.

Since all this support exists in darwin (the OSX kernel) there's no technical reason why it couldn't be done - apple have just chosen not to. It remains to be seen if they let a 3rd party do it.

I know, I was mixing two things together! hence why I added the 'EDIT' :)
