Apple and UPS giving different estimated delivery dates.

I ordered my 15" AG on friday and it first gave me an estimated delivery of 09-10 august.
But it shipped today and apple's tracking said

Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 06 Aug 2010 (Subject to change)
And now it even says
Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 05 Aug 2010 (Subject to change)

But UPS give sme 09/08/2010 as date. Which one should I believe?

Ok, the UPS one has changed while I'm typing this. It now doesn't give an estimated delivery, but it says

PACKAGE DATA PROCESSED BY BROKERAGE. WAITING FOR CLEARANCE in
KOELN (COLOGNE), DE

That's close!

So when should I expect it? the 8th, the 5th or sooner?

It's just an estimation. Think the later one and if it comes earlier..cool.

Estimated Dates have always been inaccurate for me. They always arrive earlier. So I guess go by the Apple one?

Well, seeing it took less than a a day to get from Shanghai to Germany, yes that is close

I'm actually Dutch and am just in UK for holiday, so I guess that's maybe why I see Germany as close?

My refurb was shipped from a location in PA that was 90 miles away from me on friday. It traveled 60 miles closer to me before it was dropped off at a distribution center on Saturday, but they decided to not deliver it to me today since I paid for two day shipping. Had I paid $9 more, I would have it tonight.

I'm so goddamn impatient!!!

Obviously the flight was stopped by the Germans. That's the only logical explanation.

Stil not sent, and I'm supposed to be getting it tomorrow, although even if they send it tomorrow at 6 am it should be out for delivery by 10 no problem. so I guess I'm just being impatient.

Engine changes, APU changes, pressurization problems, environmental problems, electrical problems, landing gear/brake problems, FOD, flight control problems, avionics issues, etc. to name a few.

If you can believe it, UPS, FedEx, etc usually doesn't keep spare $200,000,000 USD airplanes hanging around at every possible place just in case one breaks.

Be patient. Your Mac will arrive, but more importantly, the world will go on without it.

But the estimated delivery (which only just appeared) says 08/06/2010.

But apples estimated date still says 05 august, and has even changed the statusfrom shipment delayed to shipment on schedule.
