good evening,

i have a friend here that is having issues w/ his Mac. Safari seems to be quitting soon after it is opened...it then proceeds to restart itself. similar things are now occuring w/ Dashboard and iTunes is stubournly reopening when it is quit.

i have seen similar things before, a corrupted .plist file maybe? more complicated since it's happening on multiple apps? Disk Utility shows no issues.

fill me in, thanks :)

Do you have any theme changers or system hacks installed? What is something that you have recently changed on your system (software or hardware) that may be making this happen? Also, if you start up a new user account in System Preferences, do the problems carry over? :)
