I recently went to an Apple store and had an employee apply a ballon screen protector on my 11 pro. He used an applicator labeled X/XS. My question is should he have used an applicator specifically designed for the 11 pro since it is ever so slightly taller, wider, and thicker?

The size difference between the XS and the 11 Pro is so minuscule that it probably wouldn’t make a difference when applying a screen protector. Do you notice something wrong with the installation of the screen protector?

No the protector looks like it’s spot on. Was just curious if there was a new applicator this year or if the old one was intended to be used. I figured since the one he used said X/XS that Apple updated the applicators. And it would stand to reason that they’d update them again. Though it’s possible that rather than replacing them year over year they just update the label when a store needs a new one
