Apple today revealed three new games coming to Apple Arcade on July 3, including town-building strategy game Outlanders 2: Second Nature, side-scrolling action game Punch Kick Duck+, and the calm and relaxing game Zen Koi Pro+. All games available on Apple Arcade are ad-free and do not offer in-app purchases.

More details about these games can be found on the Apple Newsroom, and the App Store descriptions for each title are pasted in part below.

Outlanders 2:
Welcome back to the Outlands! A new, courageous generation of outlanders is ready to redefine life on the Outlands, with new approaches to building and surviving, uncharted heights and horizons, and an ecosystem more vibrant than ever before.

Outlanders 2 is the latest installment of the charming town-builder that captivated players with its imaginative levels, easy-to-understand but hard-to-master gameplay, and offbeat humor.

Punch Kick Duck+:
Fighting is all about timing. Just ask any duck.

The right move + right time = swift victory.

All you need to do is PUNCH KICK DUCK!

The cruel Baron Tigrisso has imprisoned you in his tower. Fight hordes of the Baron's hench-critters as you battle up the tower to confront your captor.
Zen Koi Pro+:
Collect & nurture colorful koi fish as they grow & transform into dragons in this calming, offline game. Find your zen & unwind with enchanting music & beautiful visuals.
Accessible through the App Store, Apple Arcade is a subscription-based service that provides access to hundreds of games across the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro, all free of ads and in-app purchases. The service received its first price increase last year, with U.S. pricing rising from $4.99 to $6.99 per month.

Is that all? Ever since Apple increased the price, they haven't added many games per month. The game Cityscapes: Sim Builder is the only game I truly enjoyed playing. It's better than spending so much on in-app purchases, like EA's Sim City. I wish there were more oldie games like "Heroes of Might and Magic IV", etc.

Apple Arcade is a disease. No way to stop the emails or notifications that invite me to enjoy three months for free…. I wish Apple would get the clue and realize that some customers are purpose driven with their apps and don’t play games or install random crap.

Here is a suggestion apple:
Grab a few macos classics (like maybe civilization VI that is also in the mac app store or perhaps a few classic RPGs like Baulder's Gate I/II) and offer it free for a limited time on apple arcade.

This would make your service look better and boost some gaming exposure on your mac platform.

i wish they have a premium tier for apple arcade where it will have good top tier mmorpgs and other online games without in game pay2win. The app store games that are anything remotely serious like an mmorpg, are almost 100% pay to win nowadays where you basically pay $ to buy better gears, gameplays are all hidden behind massive pay walls.

The whole things are a complete joke, almost like drug dealers where they lure you in at beginning giving you massive upgrades / progression then once you are committed to the game the pay walls begin to drop....i really miss the old days of ultima online / everquest and even WOW where you just pay a monthly subscription and everyone actually plays the game instead of just buying loot boxes.

Havent touched an iOS game in years

I wonder how many people are just playing emulators now?

No offense to Apple Arcade, but the library size and quality of games one can access through emulation is quite a bit stronger

I've introduced a nephew of mine (age 12) to the SNES Mario games and he's totally hooked

I know Nintendo likes selling hardware, but they are missing the boat here by not getting out an official iOS controller and a bunch of real first party stuff out there.

Buy the official Nintendo controller and some games and turn that iPad they already have into a full blown NES/SNES/N64, etc, would be very compelling to parents doing the buying

(I only recommend an "officially branded iOS controller" as it would sell better to normies & moms/dads not super tech savvy)

I had a Arcade subscription back when they started it, just for the few times I was traveling by train. I canceled the subscription after they increased the prices. There are some nice games, but I nearly never played.

I get Apple Arcade because I have an Apple One Premier subscription, but I haven't been interested in an Arcade game in months. I still like the idea behind it, because I hate ads and games that are over-monetized. I just hope they get a few really good games. Most have been duds.

Apple got rid of 32bit support. Backwards compatibility, that's not in Apple's vocabulary.

I started that offer one month trial, a few days later I cancelled the subscription. See for yourself and give it a try. Or don’t. You wouldn’t miss anything.

Get off their mailing list, problem solved.

I’ve cancelled my Arcade subscription and never received an email since.

Good to know about the additions. But Arcade needs good quality games.

Civilization VI will NOT make Apple's service better. It crashes all the time, and costs $170 with all the extras. On steam it goes on sale often, and you can get the whole thing for $30 sometimes.
