Hi everyone, was wondering if anyone could give me some advice here.

Where I live it takes on average 6 weeks to get a faulty Apple computer looked at by the local authorized service provider. My girlfriend had a faulty eMac, they had it for 10 weeks, told here there was nothing wrong, chargerd here £70 for the privelage (even though she had Apple care), and when she got it home it still didn't work!

Anyway I was wondering how you become a service provider. I am finishing university soon and maybe interested in getting into this market. I have done quite a bit of work on servicing Macs of all types and would be interested in doing the exams if I could set up a service center. There is obviously a market.

I sent a letter to the local service provider and they said that there was not enough demand to consider employing me even on a part time basis!
