So,

A couple of months ago I shut off auto renew on iTunes match because I didn't want to continue the service.

I just saw on my credit card that they charged me for it. I went to my iTunes settings and sure enough it was set to auto renew.

I'm so frustrated over this. What a low blow by Apple.

Did you think of letting them know that this was an error and that you don't want the service? Mistakes can be made. Maybe, they will refund you the money.

As I have purchased 2 iPod touches for kids and iPad Mini, all three times it was set to auto renew on its own, I will call apple to confirm that I'm very upset and don't want that service,

You can contact iTunes support and tell them the issue. They will help you out in 24 hours.
