Apple Back to School Rebate problem.

Hi, i am UK student, i bought a MacBook on the last day of the backtoschool promo, and filled in the rebate form online the same day; i posted off the supporting bits a couple of days later; and now when i check my status i get this:

We're sorry. This promotion is now closed and claims are no longer being accepted.


Anyone got any ideas what the matter is? i'm really getting worried.

Don't worry - there seems to be a problem at Apple's end with the promotion - have you seen this thread ?

ah great thanks, glad to know i'm not the only sufferer!

My friend (who purchased his MacBook Pro online a few days before me) sent his rebate off later than me, and his status says that it has been recieved and is being processed.

i expect at this stage giving apple a call with resolve nothing, as they will be so busy trying to sort out all of the thousands of rebates!
