I recently bought a black Apple Watch Ultra 3 which came with the Ocean band which is on the last hole because I have a large wrist. I asked the person when I bought the watch to make sure the band included with the watch was a M/L model which should have had more room, I looked on the band box and it did not say what length it was which was strange. Anyways, I found a used large black Apple Milanese Titanium Loop band on eBay for $100 shipped, so I grabbed it. Has anyone been using one of these for a while? How does it feel? Does the locking clasp work well?

I looked at a number of videos and folks seemed to like it, I sported the stainless version on my Series 9 45mm S/S model and it was comfortable to wear every day. I did like to new locking clasp instead of the magnet which wouldn't work on titanium anyways. Just thought I would get some feedback, I bought the band anyways because the price was right and the band was like new.

The titanium loop for the Ultra is the best band I've ever used on an Apple Watch. I have the natural titanium not black but the comfort level of the band is unmatched. No pulling of arm hair, light and extremely well made. The clasp is excellent and has never given me any durability issues whatsoever. I couldn't recommend this bracelet more.

I’ll second this.

I ordered my AWU 3 with the black Milanese bracelet as well, and in spite of also adding a black Alpine strap and a black Ocean strap to the basket, thus far it’s the only one I’ve used. Yes, it’s that good.

Regards,
Adam

PS - I have gorilla wrists, and there’s zero hair pulling.

Definitely the best band I ever used.
I'm a runner, so I prefer very light and flexible bands (specially Trail Loop) and I was very surprised, how I used to this band even is little heavier (32g vs 9g).
  1. It feels and looks very premium.
  2. It's not smelly after few runs or other activities.
  3. When it's get wet, easily get dry and I don't have any skin issues under it.
  4. Very good for swim or pool activities.
  5. Comfort of taking of/putting on hand - I don't need to target pieces to be in one line like on Trail Loop - I hate when top part not sitting exactly on bottom part of loop 😄
Currently I wear titanium loop and sometimes trail loop. After few days with trail loop I can't wait for switch to titanium one.

I can only recommend it 👍

There's nothing original about these "loops" as they are all made in China. So, try Aliexpress.

No, quality is very poor. I tried many loops from Aliexpress.
Buy the best ones, not the cheap ones.
I bought five from AliExpress and chose just two, but they are of better quality than Apple straps. I can still use the other three, even though they are all different types. Together, they were cheaper, financially speaking, than the price of an Apple strap or even a Huawei strap. I have a Huawei watch. The straps are made by Chinese companies, not by Aliexpresss.

I did look at the aftermarket loops and from what I read, they are not titanium, but steel and were heavy. I thought a $100 shipped for a nice used one was a great price and I would rather have an authentic one anyways.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I appreciate it very much and I can’t wait to get the band and put it on my watch, I still can’t believe they wouldn’t put the larger ocean band as the standard one for a new watch for the folks like me with a large wrist, Oh well.
