At the iPhone hacks section.
Apple today blocked the ability to activate your iPhone using a phonebook SIM, according to Sherif Hashim.

Sometime today, apple has fixed the bug thru which Phonebook sim cards used to activate, they are of NO USE anymore, don't depend or buy them.
