Apple Bluetooth headset icon does not appear

Hello All!

When I'd plug my Iphone in the charging dock with my Apple Bluetooth headset I used to get both the Iphone battery icon and the Bluetooth icon above it. Now I dont...??

I still get the B/T icon in the top right hand corner of the screen if Im using the headset though....

Strange huh?

Can any one help!
