apple bumper marking iphone 4

Hi guys

just checking to see that since day 1 i have had my iphone 4 in the apple bumper and the other day i took the bumper off to clean all the finger prints off all of the glass and saw that the bumper has scratched all of the metal that runs round the edge of the iphone4

has this happened to anyone else?

There are a few people who make protection for the metal trim. I have some Zagg on mine. It's multiple pieces, but I've seen 1 that was 1-2 pieces total. However, my on/off button is slightly marked.
