So with all the new MBA's & minis coming out and with the 13" MB being discontinued...

What do Apple do with all the surplus to requirements models? Yes some parts will be recycled and put into the new products but not all of it can be?

Was just set thinking about it somehow

Yep. But their production control will be very tight so when they plan an update, they'll be able to keep the amount of 'old' models as low as possible.
