Apple Cancels Delivery

I just checked my shipping info and it said future delivery requested. So naturally I called FEDEX to clarify and the manager I eventually got transferred to said Apple requested that deliveries be held for the next day. She said the order for this was given by someone name "Jay Mason" at Apple. She also knew about the email I received stating a delivery date of the 23rd, but said the Apple request ovverode the email. My phone is on the truck, but the driver won't deliver it because of Apple. She did say I could go to their shipping center after all the trucks return this evening and pick up my package, which I won't be doing. So yeah, that email we got from Apple was automated, un-proofread and totally full of ****.
