Apple Card and American Express

I note the comments re the future of the Apple Card and do hope Apple don’t tie up with American Express. We don’t have the Apple Card here in the UK (yet?!) but American Express is not popular amongst retailers and not widely seen as they charge so much in commission.

It's not widely used in the US either. At least my doctor's office, vet and dentist don’t use Amex anyway. I'll be pretty disappointed if it's not Visa or Mastercard.

I would leave the Apple Card if AMEX took it over.
