I got declined for the Apple Card despite having a credit rating of "Excellent." The reason is, GS cannot verify my identification.

My situation is that we have temporarily relocated to another country, my driver's license has a USA address of a home that we sold during the move, and therefore my current mailing address in the USA is different from the one on the driver's license. You would think that Apple and GS would have an alternative way of verifying my identity, but no! I was told everything is automated and there is no way to address my situation.
